Get To Know Me

Michelle is a yoga teacher and healthcare professional who is passionate about moving her body in an efficient and fun way. Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Michelle walked into her first yoga class over ten years ago, a 6-week beginner yoga program she took with her mom, and in some way yoga has been with her ever since. From practicing in gyms, to youtube yoga classes, to Inspire Yoga Studio in Brandon, Manitoba, where her yoga journey bloomed from a fun self-care practice into something she felt called to share with others. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with her mentor, Emily Gill, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, in 2023 and is excited about finding her space as a teacher in the Grey-Bruce area. When not practicing yoga, you can find Michelle reading, out in nature with her partner, working on a craft, or in the kitchen.

With her extensive anatomy knowledge, she uses yoga to teach others how to recognize postural habits, strengthen their core, and learn how to put those skills into practice in their daily lives. Utilizing the breath, a variety of core exercises, mobility moves, and fun yoga sequences, Michelle’s classes are designed to move you in all ranges of motion throughout the whole body. Find balance and confidence with low impact but intense moves mingled with large, dynamic flows. Each class will touch on breathing, core work, major joint mobility, posture, stretching, and constructive rest.
