Get To Know Me
Steph has always called Owen Sound home. And it was her kids and love for the great outdoors that brought her back to this growing vibrant community.
As a gymnast, dancer, coach, and trainer growing up, this led her to complete her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology in 2006 at the University of Waterloo. From there she attended the University of Toronto and graduated with a Master's of Physical Therapy in 2008, before starting her career at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Yoga has been a part of Steph's journey for over 10 years, a natural choice to maintain flexibility and strength while training for a half marathon. After experiencing first hand the healing effects of yoga after illness, pre- and post-partum and with trauma, Steph's intention has been to CONNECT her knowledge and training in physical therapy with yoga for the well being of her clients of every age, stage, and ability. Her ideal clients are kids from 0-18, pre- and post- partum women wanting to restore their cores and activity levels, and individuals of all ages and abilities who want to stay active with yoga. She has completed additional training in paediatrics, the core, oncology rehab and most recently received her 200 hr yoga teacher training certificate with DevaTree.
Steph and her husband Johnny live in Owen Sound with two young boys, Mason and Ben, and their dogs.
