CONNECT | Chiro
Rehab isn't supposed to be a cookie-cutter approach. Rehab is about YOU. Your goals. Your life. That's what we do at CONNECT. Period.
Rehabilitation. The way it was meant to happen.
No more five minute visits, no more 3-times-per-week forever and ever. This is chiropractic care the way it was designed to be: one-on-one, evidence-informed, movement-based treatment.
Chiropractic is a regulated health profession that, like physiotherapy, specializes in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Our therapists use extended one-on-one visits to build the whole picture of the person and the injury - no rushing, no pressing and guessing.
Our therapists use a variety of tools, including hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture, education and, most importantly, exercise, to help you accomplish your goals.
At CONNECT we believe that rehabilitation doesn't end when the pain stops, rehabilitation ends where fitness begins.
What Do We Treat?
The better question is what DON'T we treat. You don't need to pick through a laundry list of conditions to see if your injury is listed. You have it, we'll treat it, and if we can't treat it we'll find someone who can - even if it isn't us. That is our promise to you.
Whether it's an ache or a pain, a sprain or a strain, surgery, fracture, or bad knees that run in the family, we're here for you.
Still not sure? Why not come meet us? 15 minutes, no charge, and together we'll see what your needs are, and which one of our stellar CONNECT teammates would help you the most.
What To Expect
You should bring athletic or loose clothing that will allow your therapist to expose the injured area, and allow you to move easily.
Before your appointment we'll ask you to fill out paperwork (yay!) - we'll also send it to you digitally to save time (and trees!)
Your initial assessment will take about 60 minutes, and follow ups will be anywhere from 40-60 minutes. The initial assessment will start with you and your chiropractor discussing your injury, your medical history and your goals. By the end of your assessment, your chiropractor will discuss your diagnosis, and you will work together to determine the best treatment plan.
No More One-Size-Fits-All Treatment
You have interests, and so do we. When we built CONNECT we made sure we assembled a group of like-minded clinicians with different interests and specialities.
We want you to work with a therapist that gets you, understands your goals and can help you achieve things you didn't think were possible.

Orthopaedics is the most common branch of chiropractic - it has everything to do with injuries or dysfunctions of the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments and tendons.
Most common problems - such as rotator cuff tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, "pinched" nerves, tennis elbow and patellofemoral pain all fall under this category.
Your chiropractor will use manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilization and soft tissue release, as well as education, and a healthy dose of exercise in order to get you moving better.
Acupuncture is the application of thin needles into specific points on the body to relieve muscle tension and pain, and increase mobility. When followed up with tailored exercise, acupuncture can be an excellent way to accelerate care.
Needles may be applied with stimulation, or on their own to achieve the desired effect, with length of treatment ranging from a single needle insertion and stimulation, to up to 20 minutes.
As with all rehabilitation professionals, our highly trained team applies these techniques up to the highest standard of cleanliness, and your therapist will discuss this with you prior to treatment.
No matter what age you are or level you play at, sports injuries happen!
Your chiropractor understands the demands of your sport, and will assist in making a stepwise plan to get you back on the ice, the field, the diamond, or wherever your sport can be found.
Our team is comprehensive with their care and will communicate actively with your coach or trainer to ensure everyone is on the same page.
CONNECT is also equipped to supply gameday coverage, and workshops for coaches and teams.
